Cruel World Festival yesterday with Renee and Andy! Wandered around in the heat and relaxed in the shade in between bands. English Beat, Cold Cave, TR/ST, P.I.L. For two songs then Drab Majesty, The Damned, Violent Femmes, The Church, heard Psychadelic Furs in the distance, Devo, Blondie, Bauhaus, Morrissey. It was a fun day of old favorites and some new music! People watching was fantastic! 🖤🎶 Now I’m at home under the fan in cozies about to find a movie to watch while eating popcorn and resting my sore feet! 🥰

Good morning from the Mesa! 🌼

My “nap-blocker” on my softest fake fur blanket that relaxes my stress instantly and makes me want to just curl up when overwhelmed. And a Van Gogh angle pic of my room at my mom’s where I work and sleep. It can be tempting to take “a quick nap” when I my energy gets drained from overthinking, instead of getting out into the daylight and breathing fresh air. One day at a time. Working on changing habits.

@reneesuzanne took me to my first concert in awhile last Tuesday. I loved it! We had a great time. We’ve been going to shows since 9th grade in High School, and we have a reunion festival coming up soon. 🖤🎶 Thank you Renee! 🎟 And @andy_cuthbert for not being able to go 😂❤️

Good morning from the Mesa 🌿🌫

🔊While wandering in the inner trails at the Wilcox aka Douglas Family Preserve, I heard a distant “baaa”.

A little peaceful moment with this tiny beauty.

I had a magical moment after my dental guard (for teeth clenching when I sleep) follow-up appointment this morning. I was feeling at one with all that is and enjoying a peaceful walk at Manning Park and I saw this buddy wandering near these villas. He’s a cross between Ister - my cat I brought to Israel with me along with the girls (pugs) who passed away - and The Big Orange - the cat I moved away from which broke my heart when I moved back to the US. He’s still alive living in Ashkelon at our neighbor’s. I had a little moment with my boys again. ✨🥰🌿✨ Last slide is a screenshot of an Edward Gorey illustration I took a few days ago.

I love living back in my home town again. Santa Barbara moments near home.

Emma’s memorial stone now rests next to Sammy’s and across from Ister’s, in The Kitty Cat Forest. 🌳 We moved to Israel together and now we are moving back to LA without them. A new chapter begins today. 🇺🇸

The Geranium and Nasturtium in our garden were little thrown away garden clippings I found out by the rubbish area on our street. It’s so rewarding to see their flowers! The Lemon Geranium is from a clipping from Lilach. Little buds are forming. The leaves are excellent as a tea.
